Tune

Tune is a web-based interactive project that explores interspecies coexistence beyond a human-centered lens. Co-created by Kaliens Kollective in collaboration with local researchers and creatives, the project opens with war as its first chapter, reframing how we understand the entangled lives of humans, animals, and nature. Beginning with the Angola War, Tune brings forward the often-overlooked stories of animals affected by conflict. Through immersive gameplay, players are invited to move beyond passive witnessing and actively seek out the hidden narratives of non-human lives caught in war.

Tune was awarded the 2025 Youth Artist Development Grant by the Korea Arts Council and will be exhibited in Seoul, South Korea, in August 2025.

Avis Ann

Avis Ann is a media researcher and practitioner exploring how narrative agency and ethical storytelling can be reimagined beyond human-centered frameworks.

She previously worked as an art director at the international advertising agency TBWA for over four years, while continuing to exhibit and develop personal projects across Singapore, the U.S., Korea, and Dubai as a media artist. Her practice explores the conditions of human life in contemporary society through media not as entertainment alone, but as a medium for coexistence, difference, and relational awareness. She focuses on the design of form, structure, and context in which media operates.
