Transform for my Company! The Corporate Magical Girl’s Survival Guide

This is a simulator pixel game that uses a magical girl wand as a controller. Through the metaphor of the "Corporate Magical Girl," this project explores the glorification of overwork in modern workplace culture. The project reveals the parallels between modern corporate heroism and the magical girl narrative— both are given high expectations on individuals from an unrelated collective, demanding self-sacrifice and continuous self-improvement, and both earn recognition in the process of burning themselves out. Meanwhile, social media and corporate culture function like the transformation cutscene in magical girl narratives, romanticizing and glorifying this overwork while shading away the damage it takes physically and mentally.
