Yupan Du is a Chinese visual artist, photographer, and graphic designer, currently based between Beijing and London. Her early career included working in fashion photography and editorial design for Rolling Stone China.
Rooted in personal experiences and emotions, her work often begins with small, intimate moments that she amplifies through experimentation. Her research and artistic inquiries are often grounded in psychology, philosophy, and sociology, reflecting a critical engagement with human emotions and societal structures. She enjoys blending different media with moving images to construct immersive narratives, frequently incorporating performative elements into her practice.
